I am a native- born Memphian who has spent the last four decades creating artwork and sharing my art making experience with students, young and old alike. Five years ago I retired from teaching elementary art and moved my studio to Marshall Arts, where I have been exploring new directions in my own work.

I received a BFA from The Rhode Island School of Design and a MAT from The Memphis College of Art.  I owned David Mah Studio, a gallery/artist studio in Cooper Young from 2000-2006.  For most of my adult life, I have been involved in some aspect of the visual arts either as a designer, working artist or an art instructor.

My work can be found in collections at Memphis Brooks Museum, Memphis Pink Palace Museum, and the Cotton Museum at the Memphis Cotton Exchange.

To make an appointment to visit my studio to see available artworks or to discuss commissioning a custom artwork, please call me at 901-461-6232 or email me at davidmahstudio@gmail.com
